In view of the filing of large numbers of cases at the Civil Judge, Junior Division-cum-Judicial Magistrate First Class Court, the Ali Bar Association on Wednesday demanded establishment of a Civil Judge Senior Division Court soon.
As per association, after many attempts and representations to the Govt and the Odisha HC, a Civil Judge, Junior Division-cum-Judicial Magistrate First Class Court was set up at Ali on November 11, 2011. Within one year and nine months, a huge number of civil and criminal cases were filed followed by a large number of transferred cases from the Kendrapada of Pattamundai courts. Besides, this court is conducting cases from the Ali and Rajkanika police stations. Keeping in view the workload in the court, the Government must ensure establishment of a Civil Judge of Senior Division Court at Ali soon, the association demanded.
