After Artha Tatwa (AT) Group chief Pradeep Sethy’s revelation about politician link with his business, Seashore CMD Prashant Das’ recent media statement that he would submit some confidential data to the CBI seems to have left a ruling party frontline leader in panic.
Talking to reporters, Das said a senior leader of the ruling party was the mastermind behind police raid on his company. The leader suspecting his relation with Pyarimohan Mohapatra intentionally targeted his company to settle political score. He said he has been trapped by the politicians.
“If the Government really wants to solve the chit fund scam, it should call all the chit fund officials to immediately resolve the issue,” said Das who was produced before the Chief Judicial Magistrate Court here on Tuesday. The court would hold next hearing on the petitions filed by Das’s lawyer T Gourinath on August 30.
