The State Bank of India (SBI) in collaboration with the Accenture and MasterCard launched a mobile wallet app ‘SBI Buddy’ on Tuesday.
The application can be used to send money, pay bills, recharge mobile phones and DTH, book tickets for movies, flights and buses, hotel reservation as well as for shopping. It can also be used to view balance and transaction summary. Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley inaugurated the app at the SBI Corporate office in Mumbai.
Announcing launch of the app in Odisha, SBI Bhubaneswar Circle CGM B Venugopala Reddy said the app is available in 12 regional languages, including Odia, besides English. It is currently available on Google Play Store and will soon be launched on other platforms.
