The State Bank of India (SBI) opened its first sbiINTOUCH branch for business transaction of the customers here on Saturday.
Finance Additional Chief Secretary R Balakrishnan inaugurated the facility in the presence of RBI Regional Director PK Jena, SBI Bhubaneswar Circle CGM B Venu Gopala Reddy and Deputy General Manager Arup Dasgupta.
The CGM said the digital store introduces several unique and differentiated offerings to the new-age Indian customers. The new branch has Smart ATM for deposit and withdraw, pass book updation machine, cheque deposit machine, internet banking facility and many others. Customers can also open deposit account and apply for loan through digital touch.
On the occasion, the SBI donated `8,00,470 for one generator set and physiotherapy instruments to the Santa Memorial Rehabilitation Centre and `1,28,000 to Sarawati Dukhibandhab Peoples Foundation for purchase of five computers.
