The International Human Rights Organisation (IHRO) has appointed Gopal Satpathy as president of the IHRO Odisha State unit.
In a letter to Satpathy, the IHRO mentioned that his joining as president wouldcover a much-needed mileage regarding the human rights addressal in the State and the country at large.
Satpathy would develop a team as per the IHRO constitution and operate in the designated framework with centric to the areas like democratic rights, labour rights, economic rights, cultural rights, educational rights, child rights, women rights and social security rights.
