Sathyasai Seva Samiti national president Namish Pandya inaugurated the Samiti’s 44th State conference at the Port Trust High School premises here on Friday.
On the occasion, he dedicated a free computer education centre for poor students at Sathyasai Temple Nuabazar here and opened a free health camp in school premises.
He also dedicated a free drinking water supply project for the Pradhanahgery village under Erasama block in Jagatsinghpur district, where villagers have to travel five kilometer for getting drinking water. The samiti has invested Rs 25 lakh in the project which would be benefitted for 300 families and 1500 villagers.
Earlier, the villagers had requested the MP and the MLA and political leaders but no avail.
Samiti State convenor Antaryami Patnaik, Jagatsinghpur district president Bipin Bihari Panigrahi and Paradip convenor Dasarathi Prusty were present.
