A wild tiger of Satkosia forest division in Angul district died after it consumed the flesh of a dead wild boar which had been poisoned.According to reliable sources, Satkosia forest officials were worried as the forest which housed three tigers lost one.
A high-level forest officer requesting anonymity confirmed the death of the tiger but said that the matter had been kept a secret because of the risk it involved for their jobs.
