The sarpanch of Ostia gram panchayat under Rajnagar block has started yoga and pranayam class at the quarantine centre by ensuring all inmates live with discipline and in close adherence to rules.
According to sources, sarpanch Kedar Kumar Sahu has started yoga and pranayam classes for the inmates quarantined at Jagannathpur Nodal High School to keep them fit and fine.
Getting the permission from the district Collector, he has arranged a yoga instructor of the locality for the purpose.
Even, BDO of Rajnagar block Mandardhar Mahali, also on Sunday ,while visiting to the quarantine centre , too practised yoga with others.
As many as 28 Odia migrant workers, including six women, are staying at the quarantine centre.
Meanwhile, to keep a close watch on the activities of the returnees on the gram panchayat level quarantine centres , CCTV has been installed at Rajnagar High School quarantine centre, Ostia gram panchayat quarantine centre and Iswarpur quarantine centre, informed BDO Mahali.
