The Kendrapada District and Sessions Judge Court on Thursday rejected the bail petition of self-proclaimed godman Sarathi Baba alias Santosh Raul for his involvement in GR case number 1062/15 by the Crime Brach.
The victim, an unmarried girl of Haladidiha village on August 21 had registered a case at Crime Branch against Santosh Roul for allegedly sexually abusing and outraging her modesty at Sarathi Ashram years back. The Crime Branch produced the victim on August 22 before the SDJM court for recording her statement.
The Crime Branch on Thursday submitted the CD before the District Judge and Session Court.
