After months of closure due to Covid-19, the Sarala and Gorekhanath temples under Tirtol block and all other religious places in Jagatsinghpur district reopened for devotees from Friday (August 6) with strict compliance of Covid protocols. District Collector SK Mohapatra held a meeting with officials, police, temple managements and other stakeholders in this regard on Thursday.
The devotees cannot offer Bhog and receiving Prasad. The Maa Sarala temple will open from 7.30 am to noon and again at 6 pm.
