Arrested MD of Sarala Realcon Private limited Gayadhar Jena was sacked from the post of Congress OBC Cell chairman. This was informed by the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) in a Press release on Tuesday.
On Monday, Saheed Nagar police arrested Jena for allegedly cheating land buyers of around 2 crore. On the basis of a complaint lodged by Manoranjan Patnaik, Saheed Nagar police arrested him.
like Seashore CMD Prashant Dash and Umamani Home Creations MD Narayan Nayak, Jena also invested buyers’ money in a film ‘Chauka Chhaka’. The buyers alleged that Jena was harassing them.
Jena, a native of Patrapur village of Rajkanika, was active in Congress party in Aul Assembly constituency for last several years. He was recently appointed as chairman of the Congress OBC cell.
