Short documentary film ‘Khadichhuan’ in Sambalpuri language produced and directed by Gautan Mishra, a young director, has bagged another best award in Maharashtra.
The short film aims at creating awareness for education for the girl children particularly in the under privileged societies.
In the recently concluded Buddha International Film Festival at Maharashtra, the film has bagged the most prestigious award as the ‘best short documentary film’.
Although it is the first film of Mishra, but it has been selected for many international and national film festivals and also bagged awards in some including Pune and Goa, etc.
Friends, seniors and well\-wishers in large numbers have congratulated Mishra and his team for this unique success in the first shot. Mishra also expresses gratitude to his team and guides who made it possible in the very first chance.
