On the allegations of acquisitions and possession of disproportionate assets by Salepur SDPO Pravat Pradhan, Vigilance sleuths on Saturday searched his office at Salepur and at his residence in Cuttack city simultaneously.
Till this report was prepared in the evening, the searches were continuing and the process of ascertaining the movable and immovable assets amassed by the senior police officer was on. A source in the Vigilance Directorate informed that the searches were undertaken by the strength of a search warrant obtained from a relevant court.
