Sir, As Durga Puja is just a few days away, necessary arrangement should be made by the East Coast Railway to arrange for special trains from Howrha, Bengaluru and Hyderabad to Bhubaneswar. Also, there is an urgent need for an additional service to New Delhi from Brahmapur. Due to lack of an additional direct connectivity to Delhi from Brahmapur, one still has to change trains at the Khurda Road junction. The passengers are forced to travel only by either of daily available trains for change at the Khurda Road junction. Hence, an effort should be made to either introduce a new train from Brahmapur or to consider extension of some of the trains from Bhubaneswar which provide connectivity to New Delhi. The suggestion can be experimented on a short-term basis during Durga Puja.
