In an attempt to generate voting awareness among people, a mini marathon ‘Run for Democracy’ will be held here by the local administration on Sunday. Nearly 10,000 people, including students, will participate in the marathon, which will be flagged off by State Chief Secretary Jugal Kishore Mohapatra at the 7th Battalion near the Kalinga Hospital here and to be culminated at the KIIT campus. To control the traffic, several arrangements have been made along the streets by the police. Besides, a team of doctors along with three ambulances will be engaged during the event.
