Even though the country's social, economic, cultural and religious systems were damaged due to foreign invasions for thousands of years, the saints and great persons were able to maintain the 'Swa' in the country. 'Swa' means Swadharma, Swadeshi and Swaraj. Now in the light of the ‘whole world is one family’ (VasudheivaKutumbakam), India is moving in the path of world peace, friendship and human welfare calling for re-establishment of 'Swa' and also to remember the freedom fighters and saints.
This was stated by RashtriyaSwayamsevakSangh (RSS) PrantaSanghachalak, Odisha Purba Samir Kumar Mohanty in a Press conference held by the RSS Odisha here on Wednesday.
Mohanty said, “We have to establish a society free from colonial mindset and establishment of eternal (Sanatan) values and development of Swadeshi economy.”
The meeting decided to focus more on five issues to transform the society. They are social harmony, family reformation, environmental protection, indigenous (Swadeshi) attitude and civic consciousness.
