The Rogi Kalyan Samiti has approved a proposed expenditure of Rs81.54 lakh for the District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) which will be spent during the fiscal year 2015-16 for smooth management of the hospital.
The development was made at a meeting held at the district Collectorate recently in the presence of ADM Judhisthir Nayak.
Participating in the discussion regarding various problems of the DHH, Parjang MlA Dr Nrusingha Charan Sahoo stressed for immediate repairing of the roofs as soaked water drops from the roofs creating problem for patients during rainy season.
Besides advising CMO Sangram Kishore Das to call the Rogi Kalyan Samiti meeting in short durations and enroll adequate members in the sub-committee, Sadar MlA Saroj Kumar Samal also assured to sanction Rs5 lakh from his MlAlAD fund towards purchase of a generator and other medical equipments.
