The State Council of Ministers cleared a proposal of Supplementary Budget of Rs 10,233 crore on Thursday. The Budget would be tabled in the ensuing Winter Session of State Assembly beginning from December 1. Sources said focus has been given on agriculture and its ancillary sectors. About Rs 1,300 crore has been put as Demand Expenditure for the sector, sources added.
Besides, focus has been given to make grants for continuance of eight Centrally-sponsored schemes, including Backward Region Grant Front (BGRF) and Integrated Action Plan (IAP) in the State.
