Ahead of the elections, various enforcement agencies deployed by the Election Commission of India have seized hard cash and contraband items worth Rs 1.54 crore from different places in Odisha so far.
Hard cash of Rs 15.40 lakh, 53 lakh litres of liquor worth Rs 1.37 crore and other banned goods worth Rs 1.20 lakh have been seized during raids by March 25, informed a Press Information Bureau (PIB) release here on Tuesday.
The release also informed hard cash and other items worth Rs 540 crore have so far been seized during raids from different places of the country so far.
