The first suspected swine flu patient was detected in the Steel City here. Identified as Abhisek Jaiswal (16), he was referred to the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack after preliminary check-up.
Sources said Jaiswal was admitted in the Community Welfare Society (CWS) Hospital, Jagada due to fever two days back. After his blood serum test, doctors suspected it to be swine flu. On Sunday night he was shifted to Cuttack in an ambulance.
