“The healthcare unit will come a long way for the benefit of the people of Sambalpur, the whole of the western Odisha and the entire State since it has no commercial motive other than serving people,” said Minister Das.

He further appealed the management of the hospital to apply for attaching the unit with Biju Swastya Kalyan Yojana (BSKY) so that it would be easier for the poor people to avail the benefit of the scheme. “Once my department gets the request letter from the hospital, we will attach it with the innovative scheme for the poor,” Das assured.
