Champua Sub-Collector Pratap Preetimaya who is the ex-officio administrator of the civic body, held a review meeting concerning different developmental works going on in Joda Municipality.
In the meeting attended by private members, Dushashan Sahoo, Niranjan Bahidar, Mata Jaiswal and others, they discussed mainly on Kalyan Mandap fund misappropriation issue and bad conditions of main road going through the municipality.
To clear the allegations of corruption in Kalyan Mandap , the Sub Collector presened the statement of income of expenditure of accounts of Kalyan Mandap which showed that whatever cash had been received by the muncipality from rent for organising marriage function was kept untouched and no expenditure except payment to security staff and electric bills had been incurred from Kalyan Mandap fund.
