As part of precautionary measures in view of a steep hike in Covid-19 cases, the Ganjam administration has imposed fresh restrictions in many tourist sites in the district.
The district administration informed this on its official Twitter handle on Friday.

To avoid congregations and crowds, the district authorities have also closed the Ramalingeshwar Park and the Tampara Lake for every Monday.
Similarly, the restrictions have been imposed in the Maa Taratarini Temple for the devotees. The famous Shakti shrine would remain closed every Wednesday.
