Gosaninuagoan residents along with Shiv Sena activists held a demonstration in front of the Brahmapur Municipal Corporation (BeMC) here on Friday demanding uninterrupted supply of water.
The residents alleged that the BeMC has taken no efforts to supply water to the area even as it had announced to supply water through pipelines earlier.
Residents of Dhamana Street, Dera Bandhu Street, Tota Street, Panigrahi Street, Kalua Street, Kautaki Nagar, Salia Bandhu Street, Sastri Nagar, Bila Street and Kadali Bada Street also alleged that they are also facing the same problem.
They submitted a memorandum to the BeMC Commissioner seeking early solution to the probem. Among others, Jayanti Behera, M Meena, Satya Bhama Sahu, Shiv Sena city head Anil Sahu, Sunil Panda, Santosh Padhi, Rajesh padhi, Balaram Baba, Sanatan Chaudhury, Babula Nayak and Rabi Moharana were present.
