Paradip Refinery Project Executive Director (Project) Ramjee Ram has taken over as Executive Director (In-Charge) of the project with effect on Wednesday.
Ram joined the IndianOil in 1980 after completing his BSc.(Mechanical Engineering) from the Regional Engineering College, Rourkela, (presently NUT, Rourkela). He has worked in various units of the IndianOil Refineries Division like Guwahati, Gujarat, Panipat and Headquarters, New Delhi. He has headed various functions like maintenance, project and technical and engineering services.
Ram’s noteworthy contributions are for the 1st Hydrocracker of IOCl at the Gujarat Refinery, expansion projects in Guwahati and revamp of the Mathura Refinery. He played a key role in the reconstruction of the FCC at the Gujarat Refinery and completion and commissioning of the Residue Upgradation Project at the Gujarat Refinery.Ram was nominated for the Coker Seminar held in los Angles, US as the first Non-Chemical Engineer.
