Yoga guru Baba Ramdev after arriving here on Thursday appealed to the people to vote for Baleswar lok Sabha BJP candidate Pratap Sarangi in the April 17 elections.
He said he himself had persuaded Sarangi, sitting MlA of Nilgiri, to contest from the seat.
“I am an apolitical person. In Odisha, I seek mandate only for Mr Sarangi since I know him and his background. He deserves to go to Delhi,” he said.
Addressing mediapersons here, Ramdev said, “The BJP has agreed to my proposal to bring all the black money back to the country from the overseas banks. So, I have begun my campaign against the Congress Government,” he said.
“I don’t say anything whom you elect for the Assembly seats. It is your choice, but you should vote for the BJP for the Parliament seats” he said. Pratap Sarangi was also present.
