Ram Ulaka's son also quits Congress

Even as speculation is rife on leader of Opposition in the Assembly Bhupinder Singh quitting the Congress and joining the ruling BJD, the State’s main Opposition party faced another setback when Shibasankar Ulaka, son of late former Minister and veteran Congress leader Ram Chandra Ulaka, resigned from the party on Saturday.

In his resignation letter sent to PCC president Jayadev Jena, he has said he quit the party after being consistently sidelined in the organisation.  A few weeks earlier, Nayagarh District Congress president Kumar Hemendra Singh had quit the party and joined the BJD.
