Odisha Jan Morcha president and Rajya Sabha member Pyarimohan Mohapatra on Friday said he would involve himself in the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan by spending two hours a week for cleaning work.
Mohapatra said this while leading a road cleaning drive near the Alok Bharati building at Sahid Nagar. He also promised to bring 100 families a year to the Abhiyan. “I will devote two hours a week and involve 100 families a year in the abhiyan,” he said and urged upon people to get involved in the drive which has been taken up PM Narendra Modi in order to fulfill Mahatma Gandhi’s dream of “Clean India.
Over a hundred of lawyers, social workers, intellectuals and locals joined the cleanliness drive taken up by Mohapatra.
