Police have already given an FIR copy to thier legal advisor so that substantial evidence is collected and a strong case is built up. Police have also launched a hunt to nab the other two accused who are still at large, said Dash.

Counselling of the victim is being carried. As per her wish, she would be handed over to her family, the SP added.

Besides, the police are on the lookout for the car, in which the victim was allegedly abducted from the Nimapara bus-stand and brought here, said sources. Notably, the two arrested accused Jitendra Sethy and Rajesh Sethy were sent to judicial custody after their bail pleas were rejected.

In another development, State Commission for Women (SCW) Chairperson Minati Behera on the day met the victim and held discussions with her. Later, Behera said police were asked to take stringent action against the accused.
