All banks in the worst cyclone-hit Puri district would resume their operations from Monday evening, informed Chief Secretary AP Padhi after a review meeting here.
Briefing mediapersons, Padhi said, “All banks in Puri will operate by this evening. All bank-related works will be done offline in absence of internet services.” Besides, efforts are afoot to restore the Gramya Banks in the district that have been completely damaged in the cyclone.
