An investigation into allegation that a large number of mobile phones were used by the Daitas inside the temple on the Brahma Paribartan night June 15-16 has begun, said temple PRO laxmi Dhar Pujapanda in a Press release on Saturday.Temple Chief Administrator Suresh Chandra Mahapatra wrote letters to the cell phone service providers, particularly the android and black berry service, to furnish the call records and numbers in use on the given time and date.
The temple administration dismissed pictures of Brahmas and Patali ritual (burial process of old idols in Koilibaikunths) being circulated in social media as genuine. The PRO said the background of the pictures was not of the temple. Devotees should not believe these pictures which were being circulated in social media to hurt religious sentiments of the devotees. The temple administration appealed the devotees not to believe the photographs.
