The Kandhamal district BJP unit staged a rally and held a meeting here on Tuesday in support of the CAA.
BJP district president Jagannath Sahu and former president Lingaraj Dalabehera, former MP Kharabela Swain, other party leaders including KK Pandey, Rambisi Digal and Archana Pradhan addressed the meeting.
Kharabela Swain said the new citizenship law would not at all go against anybody's right. The Act is aimed at ensuring the nation’s security and not discriminatory. It would check illegal immigration into the country.
