A day after interrogating two doctors of the Capital Hospital and the 108 Ambulance Service Manager in the pregnant woman death case, the State Commission for Women (SCW) on Friday summoned the Nayapalli police station IIC and the Capital Hospital outpost Officer-in-Charge to record their statements.
Notably, a pregnant woman of Astarganga area had died in the Capital Hospital due to the alleged negligence of doctors.
Meanwhile, sources said the commission has reportedly served summons to the two police officers to depose themselves before it.
Earlier on Thursday, SCW Chairperson lopamudra Buxipatra had said the commission would intimate the State Government for stern action against those who are found guilty in discharging their duties properly.
