Pradesh Congress president Prasad Harichandan on Saturday met Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi and discussed various issues concerning to Odisha at the latter’s residence in New Delhi.
“I discussed various issues relating to Odisha with the AICC vice-president. I specially apprise him about tardy distribution of forest land among tribals,” Harichandan told reporters.
Replying to queries, he said the ruling BJD in the State and the BJP have a secret understanding between them. People of Odisha, particularly farmers and tribals, have already suffered a lot under the BJD misrule. The Congress will continue to go to people apprise them about failures of both the BJD Government in the State and the BJP Government at the Centre.
