Newly-appointed Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president Prasad Harichandan on Wednesday called on AICC vice-president Rahul Gandhi and other senior Central party leaders in New Delhi.
“I met AICC vice-president Rahul Gandi, party State in-charge BK Hariprasad and his deputy Subhankar Sarkar and discussed many issues with them. They also advised me on many factors to strengthen the party in the State,” Harichandan told reporters. Harichandan, who will formally take charge as the president of the State unit on December 28, the party’s foundation day, is scheduled to return to the State on December 27 after meeting other senior leaders.He has convened a meeting of senior leaders and district and block presidents on December 28 to chart out the future course of action.“A roadmap to strengthen the party will be prepared after taking the opinion starting from the grassroots level to State level leaders,” he said.
