The sanitation campaign, ‘Swachhta Hi Sewa’, started on September 15 by the Paradip Port Trust (PPT) as part of the national drive culminated here on Tuesday.
PPT Secretary UR Mohan Raju presented a visual display on various activities undertaken by different departments during period like cleaning of colonies, schools, stadiums, weeding out of old records, furniture, repairing of potholes and cleaning of roads, removal of unwanted vegetation, painting of buildings, upgradation and cleaning of public toilets to keep the surroundings neat and clean. Chief guest PPT Chairman Rinkesh Roy said that apart from conducting cleaning programmes, citizens should inculcate a habit of being clean and all should unite in the effort to make Paradip a clean city.
