The Paradip Port Trust (PPT) organised an event at the Jagruty School here to mark the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. Chief guest PPT Chairman Rinkesh Roy saluted the spirit of determination of schoolchildren and mentioned that the PPT would take necessary steps within its ambit for all-round development of the school. He stressed on making the PPT office buildings more accessible for Divyangs.
Guest of honour Paradip Ladies’ Club president Subhalaxmi Roy congratulated the two alumni of the school who have got gainful employment after passing out. The PPT Chairman gave away prizes to the winners of different competitions held among Jagruty schoolchildren. He distributed gifts to the PPT’s differently-abled employees and well as Children of Jagruty. School faculties were also felicitated on the occasion.
PPT Senior Accounts officer and Jagruty Secretary Prasant Kumar Moharana, Sr. Accounts officer presented the school’s annual report. The school’s differently- abled children performed cultural activities under school Principal Nalini Mohanty’s guidance.
