Pradesh Youth Congress (PYC) members led by its president Rajat Choudhury on Thursday staged a demonstration before the State legislative Assembly opposing the sky-high price of potato.
Choudhury stated that the State Government has utterly failed to regulate the market price of potato, as a result of which the black-marketers are taking advantages of the situation.
If the State Government fails to take any suitable measures to regulate the price of potato and does take stringent action against the black-marketers, the Youth Congress would intensify its agitation all over the State, Choudhury said.
