The Commissionerate Police on Friday appealed to the Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) Court to allow it to take all the three accused in Pramod Routray murder case on a two-day remand for further investigation.
Following the allegation made by the deceased’s brother, mother and sister that police has turned partial, Twin City Commissioner of Police Dr RP Sharma told the media the case would be probed from all angles.Dr Sharma said the family members of the deceased claimed that people other than the three arrested are involved in the crime.
“It is by no means a closed investigation,” he added. Similarly, Bhubaneswar DCP Satyabrata Bhoi said the accused would be quizzed. PNS
