The Commissionerate Police on Sunday conducted an interface with public at the SOA University campus here.
Attending the interface, the locals demanded regular police patrolling, civil policing and controlling of liquor trade in Kalinga Vihar and adjacent area. They also demanded that the Commissionerate Police begin the process for setting up of a new police station in Kalinga Vihar. Replying the questions of the public, Twin City Police Commissioner Dr RP Sharma clarified that the demands would be thoroughly examined. “I shall examine the demands of people about the establishment of a new police station in Kalinga Vihar. After examination, I can tell whether the locality needs a new police station or enhancement of Tamando police station would do,” said Sharma.
