The Odisha State Police Housing & Welfare Corporation contributed Rs 25 lakh to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for relief and rehabilitation of cyclone victims.
Besides, the corporation released Rs 5 lakh for running a community kitchen for affected persons in Ganjam district under the banner of Karuna in partnership with the Odisha Police and Rs 7.25 lakh for welfare of affected persons of the Police, Home Guards, Fire and Prison Departments.
The corporation has also committed to reconstruct a damaged school or a hospital or a community building at a cost of Rs 50 lakh in Ganjam district.
