Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is likely to visit the worst Phailin and flood-affected districts of Ganjam and Baleswar on November 2.
Official sources here said the Prime Minister’s Office alerted the Chief Minister’s Office on Wednesday about his visit. However, a programme schedule of the PM’s visit was yet to reach State Government.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik asked his Cabinet colleagues to stay in the headquarters till Nov 2. He also asked the Special Relief Commissioner to prepare a detailed report on the damages and fund requirement for rebuilding and rehabilitation.
