As part of a slew of reforms in the Plus II examinations being undertaken by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) and also in a departure from the past, the practical tests for this year’s examinations were started from Monday before the theory examinations to be held from March 3.
The practical test will end on February 22.“Elaborate arrangements have been made for smooth conduct of the practical as well as theory examinations. Three-tier squads were engaged to keep a strict vigil on the examination centres. Similarly, CCTV cameras were installed at all 205 examination hubs to avoid any untoward incident in regard to safety of question papers,” said CHSE Controller of Examination Biranchi Narayan Mishra.
The theory tests, which will commence from March 3, will end on March 26. The change in the schedule is aimed to facilitate students to appear for all-India engineering and medical entrance tests.
