The Bisra police and 19 Battalion of CRPF during a joint search operation in the bordering area on Monday arrested Bhadra Singh (20), a PlFI member of Rudhi village of Jharkhand. During interrogation he had confessed his involvement in the murder of two Jharkhand-based cloth merchants Rajesh Choudhury and Biswanath Choudhury at Katepur bazar under Nuagaon block on June 22 this year.

Source said the two cloth merchants had come to Bisra and Nuagaon area for cloth trading and their decomposed bodies were recovered which were buried in Gainjur jungle on June 25. Though the police was clueless about the murder, the arrest of Bhadra would help police to go ahead with the case. Police quoting Bhadra said at least 13 PlFI members were involved in the murder of two businessmen.
