The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) on Wednesday started the second phase counselling as around 29,000 engineering seats still lie vacant in several colleges across the State.

On July 12, the OJEE had published the provisional list for the engineering counselling. Out of the total 45, 677 seats at various engineering colleges in the State, only 19,647 students had locked choice and finally around 16,000 students took admission this year. “As we have many vacant seats in various colleges, we conducted the second phase counselling to fill the vacant seats,” said OJEE Secretary Priyabrata Sahu.
