Subrat Kumar Nanda, on whose petition the CBI has been investigating the age fudging scam in the Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) headed by the then secretary Asirbad Behera, on Monday lodged a police complaint alleging that the latter is threatening him using goons to withdraw the petition from the Central investigating agency.
Nanda, a lawyer by profession, lodged an FIR against Behera at the Badagada police station here alleging that two goons at the behest of Behera attacked his house on Sunday night and threatened him and his family members of dire consequences if he fails to withdraw the petition from the CBI at the earliest.
“Asirbad Behera has engaged the goons to terrorise me. last night, he sent two goons to my house and they attacked my house and threatened me to withdraw the petition before the CBI. Though I called the police control room and also the Badagada police station for help but they reached after 40 long minutes,” alleged Nanda.
On the other hand, Behera refuted the charges levelled against him and said he never believes in such type of activities.
