Even as there are talks about the early general elections in the country, Food Supplies and Consumer Welfare Minister Surjya Naryan Patro on Sunday predicted general elections would be held on December 22.
Speaking to the mediapersons, Patro said elections are round the corner and the BJD is bracing up for them.
However, the Congress and the BJP pooh-poohed Patro’s predictions.
Congress Media Cell in-charge Satya Prakash Nayak questioned since when the Minister has been into astrology. There are talks doing the rounds that the BJD and the BJP have an internal understanding, he added.
Similarly, BJP vice-president Samir Mohanty said now- a -days, Surjyababu, besides his Ministry assignments, is trying to be a smart astrologer.
