The Kalahandi District Congress Committee on Sunday welcomed local MP Bhakta Charan Das for his new assignment as AICC spokesperson here at a Karmi Samilanni and Sambardhan Sabha.

Government for not utilising the Central funds. “There are no sufficient teachers in primary schools across the State.
Most of the schools are run by one or two teachers in remote pockets but unfortunately Naveen Patnaik is beating the drum saying Odisha is progressing. If a Chief Minister is incapable of appointing sufficient teachers in the schools, then what type of improvement in other sectors can be expected from himIJ” Das asked.
Holding BJP responsible for not passing of the Food Security Bill in the Parliament, Das said 63 per cent people would have been benefited, had the bill been passed in the last Budget Session.
