President Ram Nath Kovind on Wednesday appointed advocate Prasanna Kumar Parhi as the Assistant Solicitor General for the Orissa High Court for a period of three years with immediate effect.
Parhi joined in the legal profession in 1992. He was appointed as the Additional Central Government Standing Counsel in 1999. He continued to work in the position till 2009.
Also, he worked as a Prosecutor in the office of Advocate General, Orissa from 2004 to 2009.In 2017, Parhi was appointed as the Senior Standing Counsel in the Central Excise, Customs & GST in the Orissa High Court.
