In order to cater to the needs of the changing scenario and prepare the children for their holistic development, parents, teachers and principal need to enrich and update themselves on a regular basis, said CBSE Chairman Dr Vineet Joshi attending a workshop for mentor principals of the CBSE schools in Odisha held at the DAV Public School, Chandrasekerpur here on Saturday.
All the 70 participants, mentor principal of different schools were updated with new information, newly introduced sources and capacity building for effective implementation of CCE (Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation) in schools by CBSE Director of Training and Research Dr Sadhana Parashar.
A newly-built state-of-art multipurpose conference hall was also inaugurated at the campus II by Dr Joshi.
